Nina Yuen

Nina Yuen grew up on a fruit farm in Hawaii, and she returns to the farm every year. She graduated with a B.A. from Harvard University in Visual and Environmental Studies and with an MFA from Bard College in Film/Video. She was drawn in by the design process when she started teaching Computer Science at the United Nations School in 2004. At Greens Farms Academy, she runs the Artificial Intelligence Summer Institute with Erin O’Grady and is the chair of the art department. In her free time, she makes short videos that she screens at experimental film festivals.
