Liya Jin

Liya is an experimental designer, researcher, artist, and technologist striving to create more equitable opportunity ecosystems. From co-founding a democratized fundraising platform to becoming the first Director of UX at Harvard’s Tech for Social Good, Liya’s work spans the intersections of function & fairness, aesthetics & integrity. Currently, she is honing her deep learning skills, converting from classical violin/piano to jazz improvisation, and writing post-apocalyptic poetry. This summer, Liya joins metaLAB via the Berkman Klein Center for Internet and Society’s 2023 Internship Program to explore critical and creative approaches to teaching with AI.
